A 60-year-old Toms River man has been charged in connection with a crash that left a 25-year-old man critical earlier this week. Stacy Jordan was heading north on Massachusetts Avenue when it struck the Toms River pedestrian around 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, and fled the scene, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Jersey Shore Man Sentenced For Sharing, Downloading Child Porn: Prosecutors
A Jackson Township will spend several years in prison after admitting to sharing child pornography, authorities said. Andrew Anastasio, 60, was sentenced on Friday, Sept. 27 to five years in state prison, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release. He'll also have to register as a sex offender and receive lifetime parole supervision. A vehicle crashed and overturned on the Garden State Parkway in Monmouth County, officials said. The crash happened in the parkway's southbound express lanes at around 11:08 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, the state Department of Transportation said. An NJDOT camera showed a blue SUV on its driver's side in the parkway's median. State troopers and firefighters responded to the scene. A Trenton man was found guilty of shooting and paralyzing another man more than two years ago, authorities said. A jury convicted 40-year-old Henry Hutchinson on all counts on Wednesday, Sept. 25, Acting Mercer County Prosecutor Theresa Hilton said in a news release. A Skillman woman was accused of robbing a bank in Princeton about two months ago, authorities said. The Station Tavern in Bernardsville caught on fire on the early morning of Tuesday, Sept. 24, authorities said. At 2:10 a.m., firefighters in Bernardsville responded to the restaurant at 45 Mine Brook Rd. after receiving reports of smoke in the building and found an active fire, Bernardsville Fire Co.
